My Life Affirming Numbers
Duality and Beyond~
I knew what I wanted to name my company before I even knew exactly what kind of business it would be. It came to me magically one day and sticks with me in a away that feels like it was always mine and yet not about me at all. I love it! Duality and Beyond! It even sounds good rolling off the tongue. And after a spontaneous inquiry into the deeper meaning of the name through Numerology, I was overwhelmed, intrigued, and validated all at the same time.
In Numerology, each letter of the alphabet has a numerical value, so when you add those numbers for words you can uncover deeper meanings of those words. It can be quite fascinating. So in my case, both words "duality" and "beyond" each equal 11. Eleven is what is called a Master Number and is never reduced. Shirley Blackwell writes in The Secret Science of Numerology, "The 11 is known as "The Psychic Master"- a messenger of God and a master among men, for it is the nature of 11 to delve into the mysteries of life." The portion "As above" from the phrase "As above, So Below" is also 11. And 22, which is duality and beyond put together, is "So Below". The number 22 is also a Master Number and represents the manifestation on the physical plane. Lastly, to drive my point home, as a whole, "Duality and Beyond" equals 68, which reduces to 14 and then to 5. And breaking down in this combination Blackwell says is the number of the "well educated". Not to mention this year, 2012, is a 5. Perhaps there is some divine timing in the launch of my business as well.

My
goal and wish is to educate about Astrology and other mystical schools
in a way that shows how they can be useful tools for learning and
support personal
evolution. They certainly have been for me. And as I get excited about
the numbers that represent my business and goals, something hits me and I
realize the even deeper connection to me in the numbers.
I
was married on 6/22/2009 and I elected the date Astrologically because
of the cosmic connections of the planets for that day for myself and my
husband-to-be. I also chose using Numerology. With the year adding up to
11 and the date being 22, our intention was to invoke the blessings
from above into our marriage here on Earth. "As above, So Below". And my
life path number, based on my birthday, is a 6, which represents home, family,
love, service and responsibility. How this all came together was magical
in itself to me. However, it did fall on a Monday. We did it anyway and
so far the universe has supported and blessed us. In fact, last year
our son Joseph was born on 3/4/2011 and incidentally , he is an 11. He
is very much our teacher
as well as the new inspiration for my business direction. He made me a
mommy and in turn shifted my reasons for teaching. The Astrology baby
clothing lines, which I will be launching in July, were all inspired by his presence in my life.
And taking it just one step further, I discovered the number for the word Astrology is also 6. The 6 Blackwell calls the "Cosmic Parent". Pathagoras called 6 "Rest and Motion" because these are important to all bodies for good health. This certainly is affirming to me my love of astrology and that my destiny can be seen through the use of many metaphysical tools.

So with all the study and discovery, through Numerology in particular here, I
see repetition in the numbers that have given me insight into my
journey and have confirmed my deepest desires. I feel in the flow and that I
am living the life I am meant to live. And as my son teaches me and I find a healthy balance between rest and motion, I
appreciate the blessings of my life and am successful in my creative endeavors.

to pick up a basic book on the fascinating science of numbers to enlighten and affirm your own life with its amazing power.
